Banda:

Çilekeş (pronounced "Chilehkesh") was founded in 2002 in Ankara.
The band received greater fame after winning the music contest
"Genç Yetenekler Aramızda" (Young Talents Among Us), sponsored
by the Fanta drinks company, in 2003, juried by such famous
Turkish artists like Teoman and Levent Yüksel. After the contest,
still as an amateur band, they were invited to a tour, comprising
17 cities, during which they performed to an approximate total
of 350,000 audience.
The band members are Görkem Karabudak (vocal, guitar),
Ali Güçlü Şimşek (electric guitar), Gökhan Şahinkaya (bass guitar),
Cumhur Avcil (drums).

From being a six-membered band calling themselves Boulevard
Knights for about a month, they changed their name to Cellar
Door and played songs like Fade To Black (Metallica),
Y'all Want A Single (Korn) and Aerials (SOAD), but they also
made their very first own song, then called ''Curses On The Floor''.
About a year later the band discussed the fact that three
guitarists were quite many, and Fredrik Hammersland took a
respectful hike back to his roots in the rythm of blues.
The band started creating songs all along, such as ''My Stone Mason'',
''Thank You'' (earlier ''Curses On The Floor''), ''Resurrection''
and ''Cheesy Gossip''. The Mustang Sally cover also became a
great success for Brugada, who at the time called themselves
Ratamahatta. Ratamahatta was a fact until the winter of 2007.

"...The group was formed in 1989 and Onyx released its first 12" single,
"Ah, and We Do it Like This", in 1990. The song sounded very jazz
influenced, much unlike their later work. In 1991 Onyx was going
to present a demo to Jam Master Jay at Def Jam, but Big DS and
Sonee Seeza (then only known as Suave) were in Connecticut at
the time, so Fredro Starr called up his cousin Sticky Fingaz
